What the app does for you
- Post a cleaning request in under a minute: the day, the hours a cleaner can be there, and what you pay.
- Cleaners nearby ask for it and say when in your hours they'd arrive. You see their name and rating, and you pick.
- Your address and the way in go only to the cleaner you book.
- If nobody has started half an hour into your hours, the app tells you.
- After every clean, one report: the photos you asked for, your checklist ticked off, and anything that needs fixing or restocking.
- Booking charges nothing. A hold goes on your card before the clean, and the card is charged after it. If the cleaner doesn't come, the hold is let go and you're not charged.
- Star the cleaners you'd like back. They're offered your next clean first.
- Already have a cleaner you trust? Book them through the app, or pay them your usual way and mark the clean settled outside the app; nothing is charged.
Paying, plainly
Booking charges nothing. A hold goes on your card before the clean, and the card is charged after the clean: when you release the payment, or on its own 48 hours after the report.
The cleaner is paid the whole price, directly into their own Stripe account. Nothing is added to what you pay, and nothing comes out of what they're paid but Stripe's card fee.
If the clean doesn't happen, the hold is let go and you're not charged.
What it costs
Posting and paying are free. Plus adds automatic texts to your cleaner and automatic cleaning postings after every check-out, more places, co-hosts and reports; Pro adds the Claude connector to drive your listings and postings.
Questions hosts ask
- Do you check the cleaners?
- No. ResiSet does not run background checks. You see each cleaner's rating and what other hosts wrote, and you choose who to book. "ID verified" means Stripe matched a real ID to the person, and no more.
- Can I keep my own cleaner?
- Yes. Make them the exclusive cleaner for your place, by their ResiSet handle or their email, even with no history here: every clean you post goes to them alone, and only if they can't do one does it go to other cleaners. Or post the clean, have them ask for it, and book them; star them and they're offered your next cleans first.
- What if the cleaner doesn't come?
- You're told half an hour into your hours if nobody has started. Once the hours are over you can put the clean back on the board, the no-show is counted on that cleaner's profile, and the hold on your card is let go: you aren't charged.
- Where does it work?
- Cleaners can join from anywhere in California today. You can post as soon as a cleaner who can reach your place has set up getting paid.
